Pretrial Services

The Pretrial Services team makes recommendations to the court when a client has been formally charged with a new offense and release considerations are being made. The team is committed to using a validated assessment tool to provide alternatives to pretrial incarceration in order to maximize release, return to court, and public safety. The team works cooperatively with the Olmsted County District Court in making release recommendations that are assessed on an individual basis by keeping community safety in the forefront of all decisions.
