Policy, Analysis, & Communications (PAC) makes government more effective by strengthening external and governmental relations, internal decision-making, information sharing, and strategic planning.

Legislative Policy

PAC is responsible for policy research, analysis and advocacy on legislative policy risks and opportunities for Olmsted County.

Management Analysis

PAC conducts research and analysis to support important internal policy and operational decisions or community initiatives, facilitates process improvement for business units to support a culture of continuous improvement, and guides strategic planning and measurement to ensure we meet our long-term county goals and vision.

Communications

PAC coordinates and manages communications for the county, including public and media relations, information and website management, community engagement efforts, and employee communication.
