Southeast Minnesota public health data
The Southeast Minnesota Infrastructure Funds Project shares important health data to help people make better decisions and improve community health. It includes information on key health topics in Olmsted County and Southeast Minnesota, such as:
- Opioid use: Overdoses, fatalities, and substance use.
- Minnesota Student Survey: Healthy and risky behaviors among young people.
- Falls prevention: Falls (both fatal and non-fatal) in adults 55 and older.
- Health Trends Across Communities: General health patterns in the region.
The Health Trends Across Communities dashboard was created by the Minnesota Electronic Health Record (MN EHR) Consortium. It includes data on health differences based on gender, race, ethnicity, rural versus urban areas, language, and age. It covers topics like COVID-19, substance use disorders, and long-term illnesses such as heart disease.
