Personalized self-assessment tools.
CredibleMind’s self-assessment tools help people explore their relationship with alcohol and drugs. With the results, people can make informed decisions about their health and well-being. Olmsted County invites residents to explore the “Is your substance use harmful?” assessment. It will help you determine your substance dependence and whether your current substance use is harmful.
After completing the assessment, CredibleMind displays results and offers related topics to explore. The platform also lists local resources that can provide help.
One local resource is the Drug and Alcohol Response Team (DART), part of Olmsted County’s Diversity, Equity, and Community Outreach (DECO) team. DART was established with the use of opioid settlement funds and aims to boost community outreach and education about substance use. The team collaborates with law enforcement to respond to drug-related calls. They also refer residents to appropriate services and follow up with clients and their providers.
To access these resources and more, visit CredibleMind. You can take the assessment and review resources on the page without logging in. If you want to save the resources and track your results from the evaluation, you can create a free account.
