Electric vehicle charging stations now available outside Olmsted County Government Campus buildings
Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are now available outside Olmsted County Government Campus buildings on Campus Drive SE in Rochester. This effort helps reduce vehicle emissions and supports Olmsted County’s climate action plan.
EV charging station locations
- Olmsted County Government Campus buildings: 2100, 2117, 2118, and 2122
Future EV charging station locations
- New Regional Public Safety Training Center – Fall 2024
- Public Works Service Center – Fall 2024
- Government Center – Date to be determined
Each campus location has one ChargePoint EV charging station that employees and visitors can use. Each station can charge up to two vehicles at a time. Please see the map below for charging station locations:
EV pricing at Olmsted County Government Campus locations
- December – March: $0.13 per kilowatt-hour (kWh)
- April – November: $0.16 per kilowatt-hour (kWh)

The EV charging station at the 2100 building will not be available from October 14 to 18, 2024, because the electrical circuit will be needed for a UCare mobile dental clinic.
