Julie Hackman appointed Olmsted County Assessor

Olmsted County Associate Director of Property Records and Licensing (PRL) Julie Hackman has been appointed by the Olmsted County Board of Commissioners as the next county assessor. Mark Krupski, in his role as PRL director for Olmsted County, had also fulfilled county assessor duties. Krupski is retiring from Olmsted County on May 31, 2022. Hackman will serve as county assessor for the remainder of Krupski’s four-year term which expires on December 31, 2024.
“I am confident in Julie’s ability to assume the county assessor responsibilities,” said outgoing PRL Director Mark Krupski. “Julie has extensive knowledge and training in the field of property taxation and has been managing assessment services for the past 16 years.”
Incoming PRL Director Mary Blair-Hoeft added, “I am looking forward to working with Julie as we both begin new roles with Olmsted County.”
Krupski was appointed to serve as county assessor in 2006 and continued to be reappointed by the board.
Hackman’s appointment is a conditional appointment pending expected approval by the Minnesota Department of Revenue.
