Olmsted County Commissioner Sheila Kiscaden receives Mayor’s Medal of Honor
On Friday, December 6, 2024, Olmsted County Board of Commissioners Chair Sheila Kiscaden was awarded the Legacy Award during the 41st Mayor’s Medal of Honor ceremony. Hosted by City of Rochester Mayor Kim Norton, the event recognized Commissioner Kiscaden and 12 other individuals for their exceptional contributions to the community.
Mayor Norton reflected on the significance of the event, stating, “It is truly an honor to host this gathering and celebrate the individuals who make our community such a wonderful place to live, work, and enjoy. Over the past 41 years, the City of Rochester has had the privilege of recognizing many remarkable people, and we look forward to continuing this tradition. A heartfelt thank you to the families and friends of those we honored today, and a special thank you to those who submitted nominations.”
