Any Path Home: A shared purpose that everyone has a home
Residents invited to a documentary screening on August 15, 2024

In Olmsted County, hundreds of adults are experiencing homelessness. Each person's story and needs are unique. Currently, multiple organizations and agencies are working together to provide essential support to ensure these individuals have basic needs: shelter, health care, and a sense of community
Building off these ongoing and longstanding efforts, a new initiative is in the works. Any Path Home is a shared purpose that everyone has a home. It ensures that no matter the situation, there is a way for people experiencing homelessness to access housing and services. By uniting resources and efforts, Any Path Home will make it easier for those in need to find and use the services available.
Our team includes Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota, Change Services, The Dorothy Day Hospitality House, The Landing MN, River Valleys Continuum of Care, The Salvation Army, Three Rivers Community Action, Zumbro Valley Health Center, City of Rochester, and Olmsted County.
While we continue to work on Any Path Home, existing support for immediate needs like emergency shelter, health care, and social services will not change. We are in the early stages and will be involving community members and those with lived experiences to gather more information and refine our approach. Next steps include expanding outreach, improving data collection, strengthening partnerships, and addressing gaps in our support system.
