Bituminous Overlay Work on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 2, to begin May 9, 2022

Bituminous overlay work is scheduled to begin along the following sections of roadway:

  • CSAH 2 between TH 42 and CSAH 10
  • CSAH 2 between CSAH 10 and CSAH 39 (in Winona County)

Work will be completed one lane at a time, with traffic being controlled using flagging operations.

Rochester Sand and Gravel is the prime contractor for the $1,900,000 project.  Construction is anticipated to be complete by June 6, 2022.

Motorists should expect delays and seek alternative routes.  

CSAH 2 Detour

Reminder: Motorists are reminded to always drive with caution, and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.  Please reduce your speed and proceed with caution through these work zones.
