Bridge soil borings work on County Road (CR) 3 SW beginning November 3, 2021

ROCHESTER, Minn. – Olmsted County Public Works is announcing the following soil boring work beginning Tuesday, November 3, 2021. The work is scheduled to be complete at the end of the same day, weather permitting. The project location is south of Pine Island on CR 3 adjacent to the bridge over the Middle Fork Zumbro River as shown on the attached map. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers directing traffic. The work is in preparation for a future bridge replacement project.  Chosen Valley Testing is the contractor completing the soil borings.

Reminder: Motorists are reminded to always drive with caution, and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.  Please reduce your speed and proceed with caution through these work zones.
