Concrete Removal and Replacement project to begin October 18 on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 25 (Salem Rd SW) along with multiple locations throughout Olmsted County
ROCHESTER, Minn. With the extreme temperature swings seen throughout the past summer, there were several concrete panels that buckled throughout the Olmsted County roadway system. Doyle Conner is the prime contractor for the $558,000 project, which includes removal and replacement of these concrete panels.
The work on CSAH 25 includes an official detour as shown below in the attached map, for a duration of approximately 2 weeks. The remainder of the repairs, occurring in various locations shown on the map below, will be completed under traffic with lane closures and shifts.
Construction is anticipated to be complete by the end of November, weather permitting.
Motorists should expect delays and seek alternative routes.
Reminder: Motorists are reminded to always drive with caution, and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones. Please reduce your speed and proceed with caution through these work zones.
