Olmsted County serves eight cities, 18 townships, and approximately 163,440 residents in southeastern Minnesota. Mayo Clinic and other large corporations and small businesses call Olmsted County home. Our community is innovative, diverse, and growing.

Many of the townships and small cities within Olmsted County have adopted and are administering their own land use controls. In these townships, permits may be issued by either a township zoning administrator or by the
