​Women's group for survivors of sexual violence

This group is intended to help women survivors gain further knowledge and understanding of the effects of sexual violence in their lives, and to find support in a safe, confidential environment.

The group is eight sessions long and offered in the fall and spring. Meetings are free and located in Rochester.

If you are interested in participating or learning more about this group, please contact Victim Services at 507-328-7270 or victim.services@olmstedcounty.gov. An advocate will meet with you prior to the start of the group.

"Survivors Group was the best choice I have made to help me move forward. It was a weight lifted off me to see I was not the only one. The skills taught to me I still use today. More importantly, my group became close friends. We all check in with each other, meet up once a year, and we all still have our cards from the last day of the group. This is truly a blessing."
