Pavement preservation and restriping on County Road (CR) 146 (3rd Avenue SE) starting the week of April 29, 2024

Olmsted County is announcing the following pavement preservation and restriping project starting the week of April 29, 2024.

Rochester Sand and Gravel is the prime contractor for the project. The work is anticipated to be complete by June 15, 2024.

The project includes milling and overlaying the existing pavement along CR 146 (3rd Ave SE) as well as minor sidewalk and curb replacements. The corridor will be restriped from the existing lane configuration to one lane in each direction with a center left turn lane for the length of the project. Signal modifications at 16th Street SE will also be included in the project. 

The location of the project is included on the map below. Traffic will be maintained on CR 146 (3rd Ave SE) through the duration of the project and may be controlled with flagging operations. 

Motorists should expect delays and seek alternative routes.  

Reminder: All roadway users are reminded to always travel with caution, and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones. Please reduce your speed and proceed with caution through these work zones.
