Create truth, justice, and racial healing with “Coming to the Table” March 5, 2025

If you are interested in meeting regularly with people in Olmsted County for truth-telling, deep dialogue, relationship-building, healing, and taking action to dismantle inequitable systems and structures based on “race,” join the next “Coming to the Table” meeting in Rochester in March 2025.

- Discussion topics: Discussions can include a wide range of topics, for example systemic racism, media bias, intersectionality, etc.
Meetings will be held at the Rochester Public Library on a quarterly basis.

Coming to the Table is a fast-growing community of local affiliate groups, working groups, and individuals committed to Taking America Beyond the Legacy of Enslavement. According to the Coming to the Table website, groups work “together to create a just and truthful society that acknowledges and seeks to heal from the racial wounds of the past, from slavery and the many forms of racism it spawned.”
In Olmsted County, Coming to the Table is hosted by the Rochester Public Library in partnership with the Rochester Area Foundation, the City of Rochester, and Olmsted County.
