Olmsted County kicking off 2025 Resident Survey next week
Olmsted County wants to hear from you! Starting January 13, 2025, nearly 6,000 postcards will land in mailboxes across the county, inviting residents to take part in the 2025 Olmsted County Resident Survey.
If you're one of the randomly selected households in each commissioner district, you'll receive a postcard with a link to the online survey. A second postcard will follow a week later, offering the option to complete a paper version. The online survey is available in both English and Spanish.
Since 2008, Olmsted County has conducted this survey approximately every three years to gather input on topics like quality of life, community safety, and satisfaction with county services. The insights provided help Olmsted County prioritize projects, allocate resources, and deliver services that meet the needs of our community.
“Olmsted County values the voices of our residents and we are dedicated to understanding their needs,” said Olmsted County Board of Commissioners Chair Mark Thein. “This survey is a vital opportunity for residents to share their thoughts and help guide decisions that affect our community.”
Later this month, all county residents will be able to participate in an online version of the 2025 Olmsted County Resident Survey. More details about that opportunity will be shared in the coming weeks.
Survey results will be compiled by summer 2025 and shared with the Olmsted County Board of Commissioners. The findings will also be made public and shared with county departments as they work to develop programs and services to address the community’s evolving needs.
