The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, formerly known as Section 8, is a tenant-based rental assistance program funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and administered by the OCHRA throughout Olmsted County.

This process is for current Housing Choice Voucher holders who wish to move in or out of Olmsted County and use their voucher. 

Public Housing is a federally assisted rental assistance program that requires households to live in homes owned by Olmsted County Housing and Redevelopment Authority.
